V3 Application Support

This section of the site supports users of applications based on our 3D engine technology.  The links on the left provide access to general support information that applies to all applications based on our technology.  For support issues that pertain to a specific application, please select the application from the list at the right.

Direct X Issues

By far the most common general support area involves Direct X, the technology Microsoft provides that enables high performance 3D graphics and sound.  The list below gives some symptoms that are usually indicators of a problem with Direct X

  • When the application starts, it reports that there are no hardware rendering resources
  • When the application starts, it shows a black window where the 3D view should appear
  • Your machine out and out crashes when you use the application

Licensing Issues

Another common problem involves the correct activation of your license.  If your license refuses to activate, or you have been using the application for a while and it now begins reporting that your license is invalid, you may be looking at a licensing issue.
